April 25 Sports Club (Chosŏn'gŭl: 4.25체육단; Hanja: 4.25體育團) known as 4.25 or April Twenty-Five is one of the most successful football clubs in North Korea with over 10 wins in the DPR Korea League Cup. The club's name of April 25 comes from Military Foundation Day and the club belongs to the Korean People's Army.

April 25 Sports Club'S rival is Pyongyang City Sports club. Both team's Pyongyang derby football match is very popular in North Korea.

In July 1949, the team was founded as Central Sports Training School Sports Club (Chosŏn'gŭl: 중앙체육강습소체육단; Hanja: 中央體育講習所體育團). After then this club changed name to February 8 Sports Club (Chosŏn'gŭl: 2.8체육단; Hanja: 2.8體育團).[1] On 25 June 1971, the name was changed to 4.25 Team.[2]
